What happens next

Assessment:

Your first appointment is called an assessment session - it is a chance for you to begin to describe your situation, for the therapist to assess what is the best way of helping you, and for you and the therapist to discuss this together. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. Attending a first appointment places you under no obligation to attend any further sessions, but you will be offered further sessions if appropriate.

Fees:

The first appointment for individuals is charged at £85 for a one hour session, and the first session for a couple is charged at £135 for a one-and-a-half hour session. In the first session fees for further sessions are discussed and agreed according to individual circumstances and the number and duration of sessions planned.

Payments:

The first appointment is paid for in advance by bank transfer or card or at the appointment by cash or card.

Method of payment for ongoing appointments is agreed with your therapist, and can include standing order, bank transfer (eg. by online banking), card or cash.

Cancellations:

Payment for all booked sessions is due in full unless we receive at least one full week's advance notice of cancellation.

Private health insurance:

If you have private health insurance you might like to check with your insurers whether you are covered for our services.
